Supplement FAQ: Bio-Allay®
by Biotics Research
Why you may need Bio-Allay®:
It has been said that our modern society can be termed an “Inflammation Nation”, with the vast majority of people living with some type of physical discomfort. Bio-Allay® contains a proprietary combination of three unique herbal extracts; White Willow (Salix alba), Devil’s Claw (Harpagophytumprocumbens), and Boswellia (Boswellia serrata gum) which collectively support comfort levels and promote enhanced activities of daily living. White Willow bark was the original source for the salicylates needed for the chemical manufacture of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), but clinicians should not be remiss in believing that White Willow is synonymous with acetylsalicylic acid. White Willow salicyclates have demonstrated inhibition of COX-2 transcription, a feature not noted in acetylsalicyclic acid. Additionally, anticoagulant and antiprostaglandin actions associated with acetylsalicyclic acid are not present with White Willow extract. Devil’s Claw has a long history of use for the support of musculoskeletal complaints.
Why your healthcare practitioner recommends Bio-Allay® from Biotics Research:
Over 12 clinical trials have been published on its use and all have found Devil’s Claw to be clinically valuable. Boswellia shows anti-inflammatory actions via the inhibition of 5-lipoxygenase, with no apparent effect on cyclooxygenase. Clinical studies have demonstrated that Boswellia was able to reduce swelling while increasing comfort, joint flexion, and walking distance in patients with wear and tear damage of the knees. Bio-Allay® is another fine example of leading-edge nutritional supplementation available exclusively from Biotics Research Corporation. The benefits from taking Bio-Allay® can often be noted within the first few doses, making it an excellent product to use with patients experiencing physical discomfort. Bio-Allay® is a safe and natural alternative to over-the-counter products, however it should be avoided by patients with a known sensitivity to aspirin or salicylates. As always, Biotics Research Corporation brings you “The Best of Science and Nature.”
